From which glory calls

The search for a path through life
In my ordinary life,
because I am distracted by my thought
it is very difficult to see the great forces
that not only give me being,
but of whom I am a living representative.

Already the moment I am born
directly through the awareness of my being
I am a living representative of life itself.

The great force that perceives the cosmos
and helps to bind it together in its own awareness.
A thought nearly too large for me to digest.

So I have this value
as an individual particle of the entire cosmos
that inherently fills me with a root of goodness in being.

In order to explore what that means,
I come into a relationship with the body
which is composed of much finer energies
than the average intelligence of my sensation can perceive.
And so I need to come to a new intelligence of sensation,
one that is more focused,
more concentrated,
more precise.
It begins here, in every single cell of the body.
Every molecule is a participant.
And it is here
that the intelligence and awareness
at the root of being
flows into the body
as a result of the wish
of the whole cosmos to know itself
not only as a single thing,
but through the intelligence and awareness
of each of its particles.

I am such particle,
and I have been appointed here as a representative,
learning how to fulfill my duties first
by sensing my own particles.

In working in this way,
I learn to develop a new attention,
one rooted in the cosmologically positive attributes of my being

a still mind that actively forgets the nonsense of the ordinary mind,
abandoning each thought as it arises

and moving deeper and deeper into the body
to the place within being
from which glory calls.
