I am in relationship. with the gravity of this planet.
And each of my cells knows this fact.

They have a collective intelligence that understands gravity,
not just from the point of view of my muscles and my balance,
but from the perspective of their own individual being.

And each one of the cells and molecules in my body aligns itself
in obedience to this force.
So, I am also invited to participate in the sensation of this alignment.

I come close to the breathing.
And I see the way in which it is also aligned
in obedience to the gravity of the planet.

And I come to rest in this place
with an intention to form a deeper and more lasting
relationship with this sensation.

My attention is directed much deeper into my body now,
into the roots of my being.

And I begin to realize that obedience to the gravity of the earth
is aligning me in a new orientation
so that I can sense the magnetic nature of attention

and the way that it attracts all of being
to exist around a vertical pole of consciousness.
The top of the head becomes much more transparent
and open to receive this force which flows into being.

And much subtler forces
which touch the roots of real feeling
begin to awaken in my body
as a higher form of sensation.

Here in stillness
is where life gathers itself
in order to remember how to be

and I see the way in which being
is connected to the vibration
at the root of all life throughout the cosmos

through this action of gathering
and concentrating the attention.

I am here in relationship to a different energy,
and throughout my body and my soul,
throughout my sensation and my attention.

This is always the first thing
to which I owe attention and obedience.
