With love between us

I am forever preparing for this moment now 
When life flows into me and I receive it.

Life is already here and I am in it.
There is nothing for me to make, nothing for me to scheme.

I'm simply here in this body 
And life is a real thing that flows in here and now.
There is no limit on the presence of life or its goodness.
Yet I impose limits with every thought that I have 
And every measurement I take of it.
Yet in the end, I do not measure life.
It measures me.
