Hi there. This is Lee. And you're watching The Morning Five. This morning on April 14th, 2026. Everything that proceeds here is in and of the moment. A moment that we participate in together.

I always begin in the middle of the unknown.
It never changes.

I am here now in the midst of the unknown,
even though the landmarks seem familiar.

And I am gathering myself together here
to take in and digest a more definite impression
of who I am in the midst of mystery,
of what I am in the midst of the unknown.

An impression that is formed in me largely through the sensation of my being.
An impression that does not allow my thinking to create it.

For this impression here, within being,
arises in the microcosm,
the work of the trillions of cells and the molecules in my body
as they bring their individual energies to this inner community of being.

I see the way in which the breathing
helps the sensation to flow into being.

I see the way in which the whole of me communicates inside
an almost universal field of energies
that bind all of my cells together,
obedient to the gravity of the planet.

And I sense the magnetism
that brings them into communion with one another,
exchanging the fruits of their own being with one another,
so as to serve the wholeness of this community.

And in perceiving this impression,
which is made of trillions of points of light,
I see that together these trillions of tiny points of light
become a whole thing called being,
which is of itself part of a greater community.

This is what communion means: to be together.

So I am gathered together here in this communion,
concentrating the impression of being here.

The impression of being alive.
Of being part of a vibration
that extends beyond where I am.

A vibration that does not even belong to me,
but of which I am a part.

And I begin to sense the way in which this vibration
penetrates not just the cells or the molecules,
but is the binding force that exists
in the spaces between them

All of us singing together
in one single harmonious note of vibration
that serves as the foundation of the cosmos we live in together.

All of us.
Together.
Singing.

And what do we sing of here in this life but life itself?

We sing of love,
of mercy,

We sing of compassion and grace,
and suffering and joy and sorrow,

And as this joy and sorrow come together here
within this place that exists forever
free of the passage of time and its accidents,

in this place where joy and sorrow blend together
not as opposites, but as partners of creation

here is the place where the light of glory
begins to shine through the darkness
and to bring its creative power to all of creation itself.

In this communion, as we sing together,
we become individual, tiny architects in the act of creation.

So, I hope today to bring my attention here
to better sense that task,
to better sense that duty,
to help others sing well together with me.

All of us, together in communion.

And now I have taken in
a more comprehensive impression of my life and being,
according, not to the laws of man,
but according to a different set of laws,
ever active within me.

And those laws say to me,
here you are given life.
Come to it and sing in sorrow,
sing in joy,
and sing in glory.
