Saying yes

I am prepared for a moment
to give up everything I am 
in order to see who I am 
when what has been added by the world is gone.  

To see that what I call myself here and now 
is a creature of great energies 
a creature of the earth 
perhaps even a creature of the moon 
and the sun as well.
 
I don't know that with my ordinary self.
