My imagination might take me anywhere. Yet I only inhabit this life here in this body, this body which is quite interested in having a more concentrated relationship with me. Even now, all of the very fine energies that are concentrated in this body the energies that its atoms are made of, the energies that draw them together into molecules, the energies that collect the molecules in cells, the conversations between energies that cause the cells to cooperate in organs all of them building together in concert to this moment here and now where I am breathing in and breathing out and in terms of the life of the human being, as with all the other creatures of the air and the earth, this breathing in and out is a truly sacred gift that fills me not just with air but at its root draws in the glory that resides throughout the planet itself. And as this gift of breath deposits the fundamental element of glory in each cell in the flesh, in the blood as it deposits the glory in my bones and this glory comes to rest in the marrow of my being I meet a moment where an organic gratitude arises. This gratitude is deeply connected to the gift of receiving this life. And like all things, this gratitude is a creature that grows in me. And as it grows, I realize that the flower that it grows within me, which wishes to bloom, is a flower of prayer and thanksgiving.
